Safety Guidelines

Last updated: January 2026

StrangerCall.live is a live, anonymous voice chat service designed for adults 18 and older. We prioritize safety and privacy while enabling casual conversations. These guidelines explain how to stay safe, how to report problems, and what to expect from moderation.

Before you start

During a call — practical tips

Recognizing abuse and harassment

Abuse can be direct (threats, insults) or subtle (persistent unwanted advances, sharing private details). If you experience harassment, document the approximate time and any visible metadata your browser provides, then use the in-app Report button. Our moderators review reports and may ban repeat offenders.

Reporting process and what to expect

When you file a report, our team receives the report with limited session metadata to help investigate (timestamps, connection info). Because we do not record audio, include as many details as possible in your report. We will review the case and take action which may include warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans.

Privacy and recordings

Calls are not recorded or transcribed by StrangerCall. We collect minimal metadata strictly for matching, moderation, and technical troubleshooting. See the Privacy Policy for full details on cookies, Google AdSense, and analytics usage.

Emergency situations

StrangerCall is not an emergency service and cannot intervene in real time. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Provide authorities with any relevant details you collected and follow their guidance.

Parental and caregiver note

This service is restricted to adults 18+. If you are a caregiver concerned about a minor's use, please ensure they do not access the platform and report any instances of underage use via the contact form.
